Growing up and training dogs since childhood has developed my love and enthusiasm to best understand which training approaches work in various types of dogs.

For over eight years, I trained and worked with various breeds, including my own dogs, two Siberian huskies. Kiche, my nine year-old female, has won awards in AKC obedience and in AKC Agility competitions. Kiche is also a Certified Therapy Dog (visit www.tdi-dog.org for more information) and has an AKC CGC (Canine Good Citizen) certificate.

My experience also includes working with rescue dogs, helping them to follow commands and become socialized. As a member of the Association of Pet Dog Trainers (www.apdt.com), I am knowledgeable of the latest dog-training techniques. When training a dog, it is important to follow a program that fits the personality of both the dog and his or her owner.
